- 1 packet Taco seasoning
- 6-8 Tortillas (flour or corn)
- 2 cups Shredded cheese
- 1 cup Salsa
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 1 medium Onion (chopped)
- 1 can Refried beans
- 1-2 Jalapeños (optional)
- 1 tbsp Cilantro (optional)
Prepare the Meat Filling:Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef or chicken and cook until browned.Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for a few minutes.Stir in chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add salsa and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Layer the Taco Lasagna:Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).Spread a thin layer of meat mixture at the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.Add a layer of tortillas, cutting them to fit or overlapping slightly.Spread refried beans on top of tortillas, followed by a layer of shredded cheese.Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of cheese.
