Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then add the mashed bananas.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
