Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped

  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans) Optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chopped cooked chicken, cherries, diced celery, and green onion to the bowl.
  • Gently fold all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Allow the salad to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve on a bed of greens, in a sandwich, or in lettuce wraps.

  • Feel free to customize the salad by adding other fruits like apples or grapes.
