  • 3 Ripe bananas
  • 3 Cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Granulated sugar

  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 Cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Prepare the Bananas: Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Mix the Wet Ingredients: Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  • Mix the Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gently add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, folding until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Prepare the Crumb Topping: In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Assemble and Bake: Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the crumb topping over it. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy it warm or at room temperature.
