  • 3 large Ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp

    Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, peel and mash the ripe bananas.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
  • Add the wet ingredients to the mashed bananas, including the eggs, melted butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Banana Ripeness: The riper the bananas, the better. Overripe bananas will give the bread a richer flavor and natural sweetness.
  • Storage: Store any leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
