  • 2 large ripe bananas (mashed)

  • 1 medium apple (peeled, cored, and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour for added fiber)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk (optional for extra moisture)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in the mashed bananas and chopped apple until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
